Has anyone heard if Arc Gen 2 is coming out anytime soon?
It looks like Sonos is about to sell different color Roams...The file name of the image in this email is “Roam_Colors_Launch.png”
So, I got the fancy email for the new Roams. It says 0s all the way around which means I should be able to order but yet when I click it goes to a dead page and I can’t find it on the website. HELP!
Why does sonos have such limitations to uses with the device? Other than the quality of sound and the assortment of apps, there is truly no reason to by a product that doesn’t allow connectivity without internet and can’t even connect to a pair of headphones. I’m glad to have persuaded fellow friend to avoid purchasing this product -- as I so deceivably did.Goodbye sonos, a cautionary tale for any fools willing to buy such a foolish product
In my Sonos app i have a connect:Amp, a Play:1, a Move, a Sub and an Amp registered. However when I log onto sonos web it says no products registered. From a daily usability aspect I do not think this matters. But I am unable to benefit from Sonos upgrade discounts because it get the message that I have no Sonos products eligible for upgrade discount. How do I register my Sonos products on sonos web? Thanks

Hi, My Sonos Move is connected to my windows 10 laptop using bluetooth. Everything works fine, I can play movies with VLC and hear sounds, listen to music etc. UNTIL I launch my browser (chrome but same problem with edge). For example if i launch a video on youtube, while the video is playing I have all the sounds of my computer with the sonos move, but if I pause the video, I won’t hear any other sounds coming from my computer. That means that if I’m watching something with VLC and i pause a youtube video, i have to close my browser, disconnect and reconnect the sonos move via bluetooth to the laptop to be able to hear the sounds from VLC again.I think it can be due to some controls done in youtube or netflix websites, but i’m not sure how to fix it. Any ideas ? Thanks
Hi, I hope someone have had similar issues and found a solution. I have a Sonos Roam connected with four Ikea Symfonisk speaker. The problem I am having is when I connect eg my phone with the Roam to play music via Bluetooth and streaming to the Ikea speaker, the Ikea speaker frequently stutter, they stop playing for 1s every 1-5 minutes (not the Roam). I have updated all products and tried to reset the Roam (also Symfonisk s) a couple of times and I have set the Routers Wifi channel to a different than that of the Roam. Also at some point I somehow figured to configure the Synfonisks WM to 0 (afasik the Roam can not use WM:0 this is always WM:1). After I reconfigured them, the problem was not present, directly after and for maybe another day. Thereafter (since 2 month) the problem is present again and always. I don't have any problems when playing Sonos Radio (TuneIn) an all speakers (incl. the Roam). Does someone have a similar setup and has the same problem (or not)? Is there anyth
Hi there, I’m relatively new to Sonos, buying a number of items last year. I later added a Beam to my bedroom TV which sounds great. About a month after I bought it, the Beam gen 2 was announced - a little annoying but I have no issues with the quality of my original Beam. But I had no idea when I bought it that it was so due for replacement or would have waited for gen 2. Today I got an email from Sonos offering me 15% off to trade it in for a new Beam. Is my old Beam likely to be obsolete and stop working soon (it is less than a year old). I have read about Sonos making older stuff no longer work and a little concerned.
Just got my Move a week and half ago, joined with rest of my system no problem. First issue has been battery dying within 18 hours. So in trying to fix that problem by resetting it, turning it off for 30 secs per Sonos suggestions, I am now having issue of the Move staying online. Every time I go to use it, it’s offline. Once I turn it back on manually, battery is at 85%, so that’s not why it’s offline. I added a Boost last night to try and ensure my WiFi is stable. My worry was, it would go offline if it loses WiFi. Problem still exists. Looking for suggestions.
On another forum people are mentioning that they’ve had emails from Sonos about their Play1 speakers and that they are now eligable for upgrade…. I never seem to receive these emails from Sonos so though I’d check my system and upgrade information.According to this information, 4 of my Play1 speakers and 1 Sonos One (Gen1) speaker are now all eligable for upgrade and are not compatible with S2 and I can stay on S1 if I like. The thing is, I’ve been on S2 since it was first released so they must be compatible. I’m quite confused now!!
HalloI’m testing a Sonos system composed of : ARC+SUB (3 gen)+ 2 ONE SL as surround (connectede by Arcana to a Tv Plasma Panasonic and as source : Bluray Player and Apple tv 4K).my question is: when I switch off the tv and Apple tv or Blu ray player is not clear to me if I have to switch off all the Sonos components or it remains always in stand-by (for example the Sonos One SL has a white led always on)thanks in advance for your support
Hi, I've got my Sonos Move for about a month, quite happy overall, but there are some features I don't understand, and maybe my system is faulty, but the speakers does not capture certain sounds at all, which means that I'm only listening to 3/4 of the total instrumentation. For example, I was listening to the song "FEEL." by Kendrick Llamar. In the intro there are some heavy bass drum kicks and some warped vocals, however the ambient guitar chords in the background is barely captured at all, which ruins the atmosphere of the song for me. My Phone speakers does this better. I have no idea how to bring forward that sound, and it appears in other songs as well, and I'm guessing it's with similar sounds scapes, where the bass and rythm section is overpowering the more subtle ambient background stuff. I've played around with the already limited EQ system, but I've got to compromise on other sounds, which creates other issues.. Would appreciate any tips!
I noticed today my pair of Play:3 speakers have lost 5 rubber feet. I would like to replace them to keep the devices stable. I called support but was told the product is no longer made. I had hope Sonos still carried leftover replacement parts but the agent said they don't support that product anymore. It is a unique part that fits in cutouts within the Play:3 speakers. Does anyone know where I can get these uniquely shaped replacement parts?
Is there some kind of protection that wont allow people in my house to randomly connect to my speakers because my brother is always connecting to my sonos speakers but i hate it i only want that i can connect to it.
Been using sonos products for around ten years. Recently I’m absolutely sick to the back teeth of how unstable the app is for connecting devices. Particularly the move. Had it 2 years, not changed my internet provider or moved my modem. Sick of needing to find the move on the network. No logic to it. Just a bad service.
Hi,I have a very simple system that works fairly well: 2 Roam speakers connecting to an Asus mesh system with two nodes (the one wires to fios router and one satellite node). It works fine when the speakers are indoors but the speakers start to drop when I go outdoors. I gather it’s due to a relatively poor wifi signal BUT I noticed that the speakers connect only to the wifi signal coming from the router that’s hardwired to the Fios router, even though the other node is much much closer to the speakers. Q: Is there any way to force the Roam to connect to the nearest node? Thanks in advance,Frank
Hi I had this problem with my Music Library on my Synology NAS server. Eventually the Sonos Tech Team came up with an answer that worked for me. The problem was I only had one user account for the NAS server and all my Sonos Speakers and iMac and PC etc used this account. It appears the NAS drive thought this was a security risk and stopped my two One SLs for accessing the drive. The other speakers worked OK. The solution was to create another user account specifically for Sonos. As soon as this was created and the library rebuilt with the new account all the speakers worked correctly and I can play music from the library from any speaker. Hope this helps with some of these access problems.
It seems a shame that I cannot add a second sub to two Fives. I already own two subs. I have no interest in home cinema but think that a second sub may enhance my 2.5 channel music system. Any chance that this feature could be added?
I have a new Bluetooth record player amd would like to find a way to connect to SONOS One speakers....I have 3 of them already. Is it possible to use some converter like… Bluetooth Audio Adapter for Music Streaming Sound System, esinkin Wireless Audio Adapter Works with Smartphones and Tablets, Wireless Adapter for Speakers

I have 2 Roam and they both have issues connecting to bluetooth and have never been able to get them to find the wifi. These are terrible. We have done all the troubleshooting. Anyone have this issue and find a trick where you don’t have to re- set up 10 times to use them?
In looking at my profile there is a Playbar that should be removed. It was sold with my house some time ago. Is there a way to remove this item from my account?
I am about to test if i am actually getting the right bandwith when streaming from Tidal. If not - no need to pay the extra bucks. But i can not find that information anywhere in controllers:I find the status page for the players: http://x.x.x.x:1400/statusBut no - I can not find that information here? Anyone?
At the moment it takes 30mins for the Roam to completely switch off and I’ve measured that the battery drains about 4% while waiting for the battery saver to work. I would like the option to reduce this to 5mins or even make it immediate in the Sonos app. This should not be difficult to implement!Thank you!
