No 5.1 from PC

I recently purchased and Arc Ultra and have connected my PC to my TV and back to the Arc. My PC is only giving me the option to output in stereo.

When in was using my old RXV6A I would get 5.1 in the sound options from my PC. I have reset all settings and power cycled everything. When I use the Netflix app on the TV I am getting 5.1.

My PC is connected to the HDMI 1 on my TV which is a LG 49ub850

Could it be the TV handles some codecs differently from your receiver?

Sonos just plays what it is sent, and your PC is evidently sending stereo. You need to fix your PC audio settings. You might also need to install a codec from Dolby (they sometimes come with video cards).

(This assumes your TV is set to pass-through).

The TV only has Auto or PCM as an option. The PC was sending 5.1 to my amp, so it is not a codec issue.
