Unfortunately, the Sonos Five does not have built-in voice assistant capability. However, you have two options to use Alexa to command music be played on the Sonos Five. For the examples the room name for the Sonos Five will be “Bedroom”.
- Using another Sonos speaker with Alexa you can say… “Alexa play music (station, artist or streaming service) on “Bedroom”.
- Use an Amazon Alexa device like an Echo or Echo Dot, to control Sonos. You can say… “Alexa play music (station, artist or streaming service) on “Bedroom”.
