Roam ************

This is the second of our Roams to die, both of the same deaths. They work until they don’t. You cannot turn it on or reboot (in any of the multiple ways to do so). I chatted with a Sonos tech (good) and we determined it had no power - the magnetic pad had stopped working, but I could recharge it using a C cable. When charged, it still would not respond. 

This one did hold on for another year past the first. Am purchasing a refurbished Era 100 to replace it.

I am sorry to hear you are experiencing charging issues with your Sonos Roam and that it’s unable to boot properly.

Since you’ve charged the battery with a USB-C cable, what is the LED status light showing? I am referring to the light right next to the Sonos logo on the Sonos Roam speaker.
