Just wondering. I have the arc ultra, mini sub 4 and two SL1’s as rear speakers. Does anyone use different settings when playing Blu-ray music compared to movies ?  For example, rear speakers turned down or treble/bass adjusted on the soundbar. I’m just curious. TIA.

Hi @isthatmysandwich,

I don’t have this setup myself but from what I can tell: some users do adjust the EQ settings frequently, as we’ve had requests for EQ settings to be accessible from the main page on the Sonos app, however, it would seem most just leave their system as is after adjusting the EQ or surround settings to their liking.

If you haven’t, I’d recommend checking these surround audio settings: Music Level and Music Playback. Music Level adjusts the volume of the surround speakers when listening to music, and Music Playback lets you select the type of audio that comes from the surrounds: Ambient or Full.

My post will also push your thread into recently active, where other users who have a similar setup can comment on if they adjust their settings or not for different playback methods.

I hope this helps!
