Listener created content

Given the diversity of the listener base and the fact that it’s expanding at an incredible rate, it would be an awesome idea to allow for listener created content, almost like SONOS does with their “Sonos Presents” source.  Solicit groups of listeners to create, or add, content that can be vetted by Sonos and then published?  Any music that’s not already in the Sonos Music Content Library can be researched and potentially obtained by Sonos.

One of the largest complaints I have about other services (Sirius, iHeart, etc…) is their 4 hour playlist and then “repeats”….Would be nice to learn new stuff about artists/genres.

Side note:  The new “New Wave” station is AWESOME!!!!!!

Hi @Mgriffith67

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

Thank you - I've marked this thread as a feature request and it will be seen by the relevant teams for consideration. Keep the ideas coming!

It sounds like a good idea to me!

So this would be a feature for Sonos radio?  And to be clear, when you say  ‘listener created content’, are you thinking about playlists or audio/music that listeners created themselves?

FYI, unless things have changed, Deezer is actually running Sonos radio content.

And I agree that the New Wave station is pretty good, although it feels like they are including tracks that feel a bit too mainstream and ‘pop’ to be considered New Wave.
