I am trying to do an outdoor set up for a projector. The equipment id like to use is:

projector

screen

roku stick

Move2 x 2

Roam2 x 2

i cannot get the projector or Roku to connect to Sonos system. I purchased the amp, thinking that would solve the problem, alone with an hdmi audio extractor, but the audio still played through the projector.  Any tips??

Stop just buying stuff. The Sonos portable devices are not meant to be used for home cinema and will lag behind when connected (via Bluetooth, because that is the only way you could connect them).

The Sonos soundbars and the Amp are meant to be used for home cinema, but need an HDMI-(e)ARC connection from the projector (or optical if it is a Sonos Ray). Why the extractor? No passive speakers combine with the Amp?

There is a way to get perfect sound and picture! Connect a new apple tv 4k next to the projector. It will give you a perfect video solution. then all the sonos speakers are airplay compatible. Select your sonos system in the apple tv sound out menu. You have to do it every time you switch between the audio output but it works perfectly no lag perfect sound.
