My old Playbar isn’t recognizing the remote on my new Hisense Model: 55QD7QF. It worked fine with the LG tv remote that I just replaced. I tried changing remotes with the S1 app to no avail. Any suggestions are much appreciated. Thanks for your time.

On my Hisense U6 TV, I had to go to Settings > Equipment Control > Soundbar and then it took just 3 sec to set up the remote.
Chances are high that the Hisense isn’t yet set up for IR use, you likely need to go into the settings on the TV to change it. Check the TV’s manual for IR (InfraRed) settings on the remote.
