mounting sonos arc ultra & TV above fireplace mantel

HI. NOT SURE WHAT U MEAN….overall i am hoping to use the mantel mount MM-MAX1.  Due to the height of the mounted position above the fireplace, as this is a premium mount that lowers down.  it includes a soundbar mount, but i cant get a straight answer as to if the sonos arc ultra would fit onto it prperly.  Some siad it would be ok, some said i would need the arc wall bracket attached to the mantel mount and other said i would need the sanus soundbar mount for sonos arc attached to the mantel mount 

What he is politely asking for is internet links to the various devices, so that anyone answering your request doesn’t have to go the extra step and look them up individually. Many of us have some experience in reading specs, and determining if specific devices fit. But a link goes a long way to ensuring we know which devices fit you’re intending to ask about or use. There have been frequent cases where someone says one thing, but they’re actually misunderstanding,and looking at something different.

Also, just FYI, typing in all caps on the internet is considered ‘shouting’, so there isn’t any real reason to be shouting in your response.

You are assuming that someone in this community has experience with the specific mounts you’re thinking of using. That can be a needle in a haystack question to answer.

For the record I have no experience with either of those mounts. However, I have three wall mounted TV’s with ArcUltra’s resting on cabinets below them. I purchased the mounts from BestBuy who were also familiar with the type of mount best suited for the size and weight of the TV. I also engaged Geek Squad to install the mount and hang the TV.

I personally wasn’t about to attempt attaching the mount and TV as I’m not a DiY’er to that extent. I’d rather have a trained professional who would also be liable if the TV were damaged/dropped during installation or fell of the wall. 

My point being even though you reside in Canada and I in the US; surely there is a big-box store or other retailer who could provide better advice than happen-stance in this community. I’m just saying….🤷

I’m not familiar with these mounts. Generally a SONOS soundbar will not attach directly to a TV mount, but extender rails are usually available. If the ARC is attached to the plane of the TV, it should be mounted at least 4 inches below the TV. If the TV is not movable and there is a shelf below the TV, the ARC can be placed on the shelf in front of the of the TV and the 4 inches is not required.
