Currently have play bar with sub and amp to in ceiling surrounds. TV is 10 year Samsung. Planning on upgrading to Sonos arc ultra and a newer tv. Question is what tv is more compatible sony kxr7590 or lg g4? Want best 77” in a fairly well lite room with sliding glass doors about 10 feet away on perpendicular wall. I know a lot of info but this is important to for viewing Sunday afternoon football. Of course we watch crime dramas and movies at night. And when she’s not home I love to crank up the volume for a good disaster flick!

Hi @Djcundy

Welcome back to the Sonos Community!

I am not sure I can tell you which of those TVs is “more compatible” - they should both be fine as they both come with optical ports (should you get the TV before replacing the Playbar) and eARC for connecting to the Arc Ultra. I did come across this earlier post detailing some device conflicts with the LG:

So, I would perhaps edge towards the Sony for this sole reason, but ultimately, if it were me, I’d be making the choice based on picture quality, or perhaps the screen’s reflectivity (given the qualities of the room that you mentioned).

I hope this helps.
