Hi @Kaneman, welcome to the Sonos Community!
If you haven’t set up Trueplay and have the option to, I would definitely recommend doing so. While Trueplay isn’t the be-all and end-all, it will help with giving you a better experience no matter the placement. If you feel like the height channel is still to quiet or you can’t make it out, then you can always adjust the height channel audio in the Sonos app after attempting Trueplay (or before, but I’d still recommend using Trueplay if you can).
Having the Era 300s inverted is a supported setup, so you wont be sacrificing any sound experience by doing so. Only you will know what sounds good to you, so it’s worth trying to see if this would be the better setup. The worst case scenario here is that you have to change them back. We added Trueplay support for inverted Eras around two months ago (if I remember correctly), so it will properly calibrate the speakers in either orientation.
I hope this information helps!

FYI, Inverted mounted is only recommended in the following wall mount situation. If you feel your mounting meets those specifics then you might try it. However, I’d only recommend it providing both speakers meet the parameters. https://www.sonos.com/en-us/guides/era300

These speakers are heavy. Has anyone tested the Sonos mount in the inverted position? Can I trust that this will hold over time? Also, how many degrees does this Sonos mount swivel? I have an awkward wall where I’m considering putting these and may need to add a 45-degree wooden wedge to aim the front of the speaker back towards the TV. It’s not ideal, but I’m pretty limited. Are there any other mounts out there that offer sturdy inverted positioning that will also swivel more than 45-degrees?
