I was listening to music at about 10% of full volume when all of the sudden the music paused mid-song and then a few seconds later out of nowhere came this horrible screechy/scratch noise. The noise was at full volume even though I was listening just moments before and a low volume. It sounded like a demon had possessed my system. I have a a paired set of first gen sonos ones, a single sonos five, and a sonos arc. This happened while listening on the paired ones and sonos five grouped. Diagnostic info sent: 191715886
Hey guys, I just set up my brand new Arc + Sub in my living room, but I am getting no sound from my sub at all. Both the Arc + Sub show as connected, and I can slide the “Sub Level” bar in my app, but nothing is coming from the sub. The light on the back is also a solid white. Everything is connected to my Netgear Orbi Wi-Fi Mesh system (router + 2 satellites). I think the model is a RBR750. Any help would be appreciated. Diagnostic No: 192183842
Hi, i am having an issue with volume not syncing between normal stereo content and high res audio.I have an LG 55 nano90 2020 model. I work with a Chromecast with google tv. Chromecast is in hdmi stating higher refresh rate. And Soundbar is plugged into the eArc port. Chromecast is also directly plugged in with Ethernet.*Yes ALL my stuff is updated to latest software. (Computer nerd, build computers...have Plex server...)At first I struggled to get the Atmos or Dolby format to play. Was only getting stereo. Finally found setting in Chromecast to allow surround sound formats and also set tv to passthrough.*Other settings hdmi is set to bitrate and not pcm. I have tried turning eArc on and Off. Unplugged system so it could reset between swapping. I have tried to turn off and on the CEC settings in Chromecast and or tv to see if that would help...nothing.I don't know what else to try...i have fiddled with app settings but not much. I see there was remote setups but it doesn't pick up my C
Owned the Sonos Sub Woofer for three weeks before it stopped working. Tried a Reset Troubleshoot found in Sonos Community and was able to “Add” the sub back on with my Arc and Surround Speaker but it still does NOT work. Shows as added to the Room but no sound. The Arc and Surround Speakers are hard wired, the sub is on wifi. Any suggestions?
Out of the blue my surround setup started humming during tv play back only connected via optical input. It changes to a buzz of changing input type to pcm. Noise changes based on how control sees the sound. No buzz when using Dolby 1.0 starts when it switches to 2.0 Diagnostic number 1730440927.
Hi, I have issues playing series on DisneyTV, AppleTV or Netflix via the AppleTV OS. I am using an LG smart tv (OLED65C8), combined with an Apple TV 4k (first generation) as well as a Sonos Beam for audio.When watching series or movies, every few minutes the sound cuts off for 1-2 seconds and sometimes the picture jumps a bit. Then everything is fine for a few mins before it starts again. I do not seem to have the issue when accessing Netflix content via the LG OS but would prefer to use AppleTV. Has anyone had similar issues in the past? Thank youSebastian
Hello I have having difficulties setting up the audio portion for my karaoke machine to Sonos ARC. The karaoke machine has an HDMI which is connect but also has audio out cables in white and red. The picture is working but how I do set up to have sound working? My TV only has hdmi and cables.. 😭
Hello , I have Sonos beam + 2 sonos One , I actually connected each other in one room .I am put music from my phone everything work good. But When I connect it to te samsung tv The sound come out just from the beam and not the 2 Sonos oneCan you help me how to fix this ?Thank You
I’m a bit irritated with Sonos at the moment. Normal audio equipment should just work, and this has not been the case. Sonos says that OneSL and Beam are compatible with S2When I open the S1 app, it says an update is needed. When I try the update, it wants to download S2. Fine. But when I open S2, it says my OneSL and Beam are incompatible! So which is it? In the meantime, I’m having issues where every few times trying to play music via WiFi, I am no longer able to do so, and some magic combination of rebooting the router, speaker, and time of day I guess, *sometimes* gets things working again. I was hoping an update would resolve the issue, but the S1 vs S2 thing is stopping that from happening. My main question: Is there a reason my devices are showing up as incompatible with S2?
In the last few days I seem to constantly be losing connection to my sub and Play:1 surround speaker. They show up as ? In the app and I go through the whole missing product process and restart my router to get them back. This generally works and they are on for a bit then they go missing again.diagnostics submitted: 1476015795any ideas?
Hi All,I recently upgraded the software on my Sonos Playbar however this had the effect of my Play 1 speakers and Sub no longer working. All of my speakers and TV are using the same internet access. I also removed the speakers and sub from the ‘Sonos’ app on my phone and re-installed. I also disconnected my internet and factory reset the speakers in an effort to get them to work but with no luck. I understand I can no longer upgrade the software on my speakers. Lastly, my speakers and sub do work when I stream music via Spotify so the issue is getting the speakers and sub to work via my TV (LG OLEG). Any help that could be provided would be appreciated.Cheers,SH
Hello everyone. i must admit i am really fed up with my Sonos playbar. I have firetv stick setup and it’s playing on my tv and this Sonos doesn’t play the audio. I checked everywhere and I can’t fond anything. It’s 2021! Why is it so hard to figure this out? help please
Hi all, Alright I just got the LG cx in order to get oled AND earc support because I was getting lipsync issue with my samsung q80r and apple TV (Video before Audio) But as I did all the requirement with the LG I realised that the audio seems to be a little bit earlier with the apple TV. I know I can adjust this but unfortunately I can’t seem to find the perfect settings because it seems that each time I switch to another app (disney+ or Netflix or even youtube) everything seems out of sync. Can someone who has this setup share his audio settings ? I dont understand I tried everything.Earc On/offPassthrough or autoBitstream or PCMand Bypass or not AV sync. Tried to change cable same same.Am I the only one. Was the purpose of earc not supposed to address this issue ?Oh and with the built in apps everything works great but I would like to use the apple TV.Thanks all for the help
I am moving to a rural area with my sonos system with less than 1mbps. Everywhere it talks about needing internet for playing music from phone or devices. I want to know, if I use a modem/router to connect the beam and subwoofer and connect the beam to a tv via hdmi arc, will it play the audio on the tv? If I were to watch blu-ray movies and whatnot? Or does the sonos require a constant internet connection to function at all?
New ATV 4K 2021 user here with audio/lip sync issue having to do with Match Frame Rate.My set up is ATV 4K 2021 -> Sony X900H -> Sonos Arc. All cables are 2.1 compatible.With Match Frame Rate On, I get a noticeable audio sync issue across all apps. The audio is in front of the video by approximately 2 tenth of a second but the amount seems to vary a bit based on the app, and video format (SDR / HDR / DV).If I turn Match Frame Rate Off, the issue instantly goes away and the sound remains in sync across the board.If I want to keep match frame rate on, I can get the audio and video in sync pretty close with the Sonos app through the lip sync setting by delaying the audio. However, given that the amount of delay seems to change a bit based on each app, that doesn’t seem like a viable long term fix.I've also tried the wireless audio sync calibration on the ATV but that didn't help.For now, I've just turned match frame rate off and enabled Cinemotion on the Sony TV to take care of the

Dear Community I own a 5.1 Sonos System including the new Sonos Arc. I got my Arc some months ago, and firstly it worked absolutely flawless. But lately I'm having some troubles with my System. My Sonos App keeps telling me that it’s unable to connect to my setup. Now if I disconnect the Sub and the two Surrounds and set up a new System with just the Arc and the Sub it works completely fine. But if i add the two surrounds to the setup again it works for some hours but then the same problem pops up again. I tried restarting every Products, restarted the router and set the arc back to factory settings, but nothing helps.Maybe someone has had the same issue, everything helps :D
Hello, I have a Sonos Beam and IKEA Symfonisk. Both are Airplay 2 compatible if I understand correctly.Since a few weeks they don’t show up anymore as “Airplayable” devices. Neither from my Mac, iPhone or software like Spotify I can select them as output device.I powercycled them, my devices and network a few times without success.I have added a diagnose: 353343145Edit: my Beam is connected to a Sonos Connect:AMP for surround sound, this is apparently the reason I can’t airplay to it. Still my Symfonisk should show up.
Hi,I have an issue with my alram. My alarm is set up to turn itself on every morning on Sonos in my bedroom only and works as it should every morning. That is not the problem. The problem arises when my girlfried turns off the music on our downstair speaker (Beam) on her Sonos app before going to bed. The next morning, the alarm turns itself on in the bedroom as expected but the downstair speaker starts playing the music (Spotify) we were listening too last night. it plays the same song we were listening too the day before. Do you have any idea to stop this bug?
