Adding more than two subs to a system

I have a movie room that’s 18’ x 39’. Two sub 4’s are not sufficient. The rear of the room is dead compared to the front.  We have two Sub 4’ in the front corners, and we want to add two more Sub 4’s in the rear corners of the room, but Sonos does not allow more than two subs to be connected to an Arc Ultra.

Is there a way around this without getting two sonos amps and running another brand subwoofer from a sonos amp?

Not really, at least as it stands right now. I’d suggest you try moving the location of the subs around, bass is subject to a lot of room dynamics. Moving them even inches can make a big difference, but there is a lot of experimentation involved.

if this wasn’t a home theater setup, I’d suggest other speakers ‘grouped’ to tie the Sonos Subs to, but the delay between the home theater ‘room’ and any other rooms would make that challenging, and likely unsatisfactory.
