When the Sonos Ace are on and i receive a phone call (Android), no sound is played in the headphones. If I am listening to music, I can tell that I am receiving a call because the music stops but there is no sound in the headphones to alert me. What ma I missing? Thanks!

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with your Sonos Ace not playing a sound when you get a call.

I don’t think you’re missing anything, you should get a sound when you get a call, unless your phone is on silent or you’ve disabled the ringtone. If not, try the following steps:

  1. Disconnect your Sonos Ace from your phone.
  2. Reboot both your Ace and phone by powering them off for one to two minutes, then back on.
  3. Update your Ace
  4. Reconnect the Ace to your phone and try a test call.

If the issue still occurs after this, then I recommend reaching out to our support team for further troubleshooting.

I'm not a Ace user (I want those) but I have headphones and I had the same, so if you have a Samsung you can go to Bluetooth configuration > Three points > Advanced settings > Sync Tones

If you have another brand of phone try a similar solution :)


Tried this and it didn’t work for me. I’m having the exact same issue
