Question

Ace TV Swap w/Arc- Default Volume Settings?

How can I synchronize the volume of my Sonos Ace headphones with the TV volume? I want the TV volume to also decrease when I unplug them and lower the volume on my headphones. Currently, when I unplug them, they don't return to their previous volume levels; instead, the TV defaults to volume level 15, and the Ace to volume level 60. This happens every time I switch between them.
It's a problem because the whole point of using headphones is not to disturb people nearby, and if you're using them at night, you don't want to disturb people who are sleeping. Now, when you play the sound back, the TV volume is too high for that time of night. Sonos should find a solution.

I don’t see any way to change the defaults. However, if you use the Sonos app to swap back, you have an opportunity to adjust the TV volume before the swap.

Sounds like a good feature suggestion.

Not experiencing your issues. I adjusted my TV volume to level 9 as shown in the Sonos app. I then Swapped to my Ace and adjusted the volume for it accordingly. I Swapped back to my TV which remained at level 9. If it makes a difference I have an ArcUltra connected to an LG OLED TV.

How are you swapping audio? If I use the button on the Ace to swap, it uses defaults of volume 60 when swapped to Ace audio, and TV volume 15 when swapped back. If using the app to swap, it ends up with volume 60 when swapped to Ace, and the previous TV volume, which can be adjusted, when swapping back. Using Beam 2.
