Unable to connect to Google Home / Google Assistant

I have two IKEA Symfonisk, and I am trying to connect them to my Google Home.

When I try to connect them, Google Home sends me to the Sonos website to log in. Then I get a message that I need to connect the speakers to my account, even though the speaker system is already on my account, and I am logged in on the Sonos app

When I try to move on from this page, I get a new message saying I need to update the Sonos app, but then I am stuck because the app is already fully updated. If I click the update button, it opens the Sonos app and nothing else happens.

I tried reaching out to customer support, but they were unable to help me.

Anyone know how to fix this?

I found a workaround: use an Apple device to connect Sonos to Google Home instead of Android, it works flawlessly.

I got my speakers in 2020, and just in to a new home this year. When I log into the Sonos website and look at my system, I can see my speakers as I originally registered them, and not as I have them now in my new home. Could this be the issue?
