I get this error when I try and connect Google Home to Sonos (via Home app) even though I’m using the same email address for both accounts.

The status page at https://status.sonos.com/ still shows a partial outage for Google Assistant, so I assume this is the cause for your issue. I've been having this same problem since yesterday.
I'm getting this error message now when I try to add GA to my Sonos One. Sonos Registration/API looks like it's up and running, so I'm not sure why.
