With regular google assistant devices, if I say “turn on the lights” it will turn on lights in the same room.
With the Beam, the same command will turn on lights in the whole house.
Likewise I can’t control the thermostat of the room that contains the Beam. It changes all of them.
What am I missing? The Beam is definitely in the right room in Google Home.
I think the Google groups/rooms don’t work (yet) with Sonos. Have you tried including the room name in your instruction? Hopefully that should work.

The room name works fine. It just shouldn’t be necessary when the device is *in* the room. It’s a shame that’s not sorted yet.
