Google nest ‘Lower volume when listening, feature not working with Sonos

I use my Sonos as the default speaker with my Google Nest. Music can be controlled on the Sonos by the Google Nest, no issues. However, the Google Nest feature ‘Lower volume when listening” does not work with my Sonos. This is very annoying as I have to shout Google commands when music is playing on my Sonos speakers. Ive tried re-lnking my Sonos speakers with Google Home, I’ve update the Sonos software to the latest. Is there a fix for this ?

Hi @Rod G

If you reply to your own question, then the topic is no longer flagged as one needing a reply. I’ve asked for this to be fixed, but apologies for the delay.

As I’ve also seen some reports of the same thing happening with Alexa, I recommend you get in touch with our technical support team, who will get the issue documented and investigated.

Thanks.
