I have been using Google Assistant on my Sonos Beam for years without any issues, but recently it has started mixing English and Dutch together. I removed the Assistant from the speaker and added it back again, hoping that would resolve the problem, but now it cannot execute any commands at all. Since the Sonos merely sends your voice to a Google server, and feeds you back the response, your best bet might be to ask Google. Sonos is merely the conduit between your voice and the Google server.

I too have this sometimes, though my system seems to work better with Philips Hue, getting it right 99% of the time. Did you try to re-autoriteit Hue on Google, and reauthorize Sonos on Google and Google on Sonos? On my system the acknowledgment when turning off the microphone on a speaker isn’t I Dutch anymore, but in (perfect) English.

Google has always been less on the ball on Sonos and now they’ve seem to have left behind Assistant on Sonos in an even worse condition, concentrating on Gemini. For instance, my system does not supply me with news reports anymore - not when I ask it and not from a routine. All without being transparent over what should work and what shouldn’t.
