google assistant and timer not sounding

Not working on my Sonos Move. I have had the problem for a few months. I could ask for remaining time and it would answer correctly. Now, after reinstalling Google Assistant, it says timer is set but when I ask there are no timer. Setting alarm works. 

I have the exact same issue on my Sonos One. It’s infuriating, because it’s one of the few thing I actually use my Sonos speaker for, and Google Assistant is gaslighting me telling the timer is set. I already overcooked 2 dishes because of this issue.

Switching to Sonos voice is not an option because an other mayor use-case for me is adding things to my shopping list in Google keep, and I like the ability to control lights set up in Google home. I never got the shopping list feature to work reliably with Alexa.

Please consider improving Google Assistant integration or add more functionality to Sonos voice.

Google Gemini integration would also be great. The whole smart speaker category got left behind in the AI revolution it seems. I don’t understand why everything now has useless AI integration, but smart speakers, the one place where I actually use natural language to get things done, are stuck with tech from 2015.
