recently beginning of 2026, my sonos beam is getting "i can't connect to internet right now" error prompt voice when we try to use the google assistant.

we tried to reinstall the voice assistant mutiple times, still having issue. sometimes, it worked for a while and then same error message again.

after some research, people were talking gemini and sonos voice control conflicts in the same network. we remove gemini from my android phone, but the error still exist.

any advice?

Hi @nachito

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

I am sorry to hear of this issue you are having with Google Assistant not performing commands.

First, please reboot your WiFi router by switching it off for at least 30 seconds. Please also unplug your Sonos speakers from power.

Once the WiFi has come back after the reboot, please plug your speakers back in and wait for solid white lights before opening the Sonos app.

Try a Google Assistant command again - if it still does not work, I recommend you submit a diagnostic straight after the command failing, then get in touch with our technical support team who have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your Sonos system and what it reports.

I hope this helps.
