Gave google assistant a shot on my Sonos Beam - started a podcast on Spotify, which worked fine, but then if I try “Hey Google, fast forward 30 seconds” or “Hey Google, rewind 30 seconds” - I get the “sorry I don’t know what you mean” error.
When I switch over to Alexa, it works perfectly fine.

According to our Control Sonos with the Google Assistant help page, there are no Google Assistant commands to skip forward within a track, only to skip to the next track. I therefore recommend that you stick with using Alexa if you make use of this function.
