Transfer ownership

I have 3 SONOS Amps controlling several in-ceiling speakers in my house.  These speakers are in separate zones.  I use the SONOS S1 app (because one of the Amps is an older model).  I also use Alexa to play music.  The speakers are not SONOS brand.

I am in the process of selling my home, and the buyer is going to keep the whole setup.  How do I transfer or give him control so that I don’t have to give him my login ID and password?

Factory Reset them all and tell him where to find the S1 app and initial installation instructions.

Thanks!  Is there a way you can export, or somehow save all of the existing settings so he could follow them for guidance?

Unfortunately not. The data is stored on the speakers, and not outside them, either in the ‘’cloud, or in the controller itself.

https://support.sonos.com/en/article/transfer-your-sonos-system-to-a-new-account

There is an option in the app, but it seems it is to move into another account of the same user, it’s not clear to me.

And, if it’s not possible, the factory reset that @Stanley_4 said. And let the new owner to work in his new equipment 😅

You can factory reset each Sonos Amp before handing them over. That’ll remove them from your account so the new owner can set them up fresh using their own Sonos app and login. It’s the cleanest and safest way to transfer ownership.

A save isn't possible but you can screenshot each page of settings.

I have a folder of that sort of images just in case I have a really bad day.
