Sonos - I've seen the posts from a couple of year ago have sonos really still not patched the products to adapt to a new wifi router?

I cant connect sub and ones to my new network.... any ideas folks?

Use the information in the new router - installation instructions FAQ.

Just use your old SSID and password and Sonos won’t even notice you changed.

If you can’t do that, hook one Sonos to Ethernet, change the Sonos SSID and password settings. Wait a few minutes and remove the Ethernet.

Unless your new router is set to not use protocols Sonos understands these will work. If it is a protocol issue see the Sonos FAQ:

If you do not want to re-use your old WiFi credentials you should start here: https://support.sonos.com/article/connect-sonos-to-a-new-router-or-wi-fi-network

To me this seems a strange way of looking at the situation. Just how would you “patch products to adapt to a new wifi router”? Someone needs to tell the system there’s been a change. It can’t find that out on its own. If you change the drawer you put the cutlery in in your dining room, does your wife need to be “patched” to adapt to the new drawer?

Ive done this already and it's failing to connect. My patch comment refers to all other "smart" devices in my house have migrated fine to the new network easily. Just one of the most expensive equipment is struggling to connect. Ridiculous
