Does the Arc sound better than the playbar for Dolby Digital 5.1 content?

Yes Sonos Arc has a rich sound quality compare to the Sonos playbar.
I suggest also to go to Sonos website to see how the arc perform in realy life.

I find a definite improvement, due to the width of the Arc. It ‘seems’ crisper, but that may be confirmation bias, and I’m unwilling to set them both up with a switch to do a real A/B blind test.
The other nice things are the Arc has ARC/eARC compatibility versus the optical connection of the PLAYBAR, in addition to AirPlay 2 capability.
I did. My Vizio TV is incapable of passing Dolby Digital Plus out its ARC port.
However, there’s currently very little Atmos content in my life. It will increase over time, I suspect.
