Question

Sonos + Tidal playlist

Hello, I have this problem...
I have a Tidal account connected to the Sonos app (android + ios), but my playlists that I created in Tidal are no longer showing.
What could be the problem?
Everything is showing, only the playlists are not loading....the info appears: something went wrong...
I cleared the cache in the apps and re-authorized the Tidal account...but to no avail, the playlists are still not showing.
Thanks for the reply.
P.

Hey, my wife and I are also having the same issue.

I did find that if I logged on via our PC to the Sonos app it worked but it's just our phones that the error message was coming up.

I am also having this issue regarding personal playlists using Tidal.  Strangely it is still playing the last playlist I selected before the error message but wont let me select others (cant seem them to select anyway).  Hope this can be sorted soon :(

Hello @Palco and everyone!

I am sorry to hear you are experiencing an issue while using Tidal playlists within the Sonos App.

We are aware of this issue and are currently working with Tidal to resolve it as soon as possible but with no ETA on when the fix will become available.

Seeing that there are multiple threads in regard to this issue, I would request everyone to be patient and use the available workarounds below until it’s resolved:

  1. Direct Control via Tidal App
  2. Airplay if iOS devices are available to you
  3. Line-In

Once I have an update for you, I’ll post it on this thread.

I hope this helps.

Leaving a like and marking Best Answer might make someone's day. Who knows, that someone might be you.

Tidal connect doesn't work either...I wrote about it above....the only option is via the PC application (Sonos windows app).

Same issues here. Sonos support led me up the garden path. Two hours of my life I’ll never get back. Suggested i reset DNS or contact my ISP.  Did all the resets etc. Out of frustration consulted Chat GPT which was the only advice that made sense. They also made me aware that  lots of you guys are having the same problem. Advice was to send this to Sonos:

“I’ve already reset and reauthorised Tidal, and playlists appear on the Sonos web app but not on the iOS app (message: ‘Something went wrong’). This appears to match the current Tidal playlist retrieval issue in the Sonos S2 iOS app reported since v80.x.”
