problems with new Sonos app

Any details? Are your app and system updated? What’s the issue specifically?

Issue? Like in the fact that app works sporadically, drops speakers, fails to load playlists…. as mentioned before, making old fashioned wired speakers much more acceptable.

I am at the state now where the app on my mobile device does not even recognize my system, after deleting and reinstalling it several times, and oddly, after months of the desktop version of the app not working correctly, it works better than the non functioning mobile app and the next time the system explodes I will procure something else - shame because the sound is very good - whole set up was much better a few years ago, and now beginning to get annoyed and the constant new product emails as opposed to  making existing customers who spent thousands happy.

I have wasted too many hours with customer service to even bother calling them anymore.

I was talking to @maven in case there were specific issues that could be addressed.

I could name a long list of issues, hence I summed it up as “unreliable” because it also changes all the time. Many issues like Sm001listener, the app continuously loosing the system or just random speakers being one of the most annoying. Everything is up to date - which I wish it was not (time machine to the old app would be great). I think many users will also loose the will to keep trying at some point - if users wanted to solve problems all day and thinker with a system they would buy a unix based dyi system. 

I would like to send you a sound example, but how can I do this? You would be surprised…

I have two soundbars, four sonos 5’s, two Moves, and quite many other devices. Now mostly useless as the software is so awful.

Seriously, have you given up or should we still wait for a short while? I am really had enough of this stuff!

It is only totally infuriating when you constantly receive marketing emails from them for new product….right.

Why my Sonos is responding to my commands? I want to stop, but nothing is happening!

This as to be the worst upgrade in software history. The twelve Sonos devices that I have now look like the worst investment ever.

Congratulations Sonos!!! The new version of the app actually worked for two days before it sh*t the bed and revisited dropping speakers forcing many time resetting up system, having it not recognize speakers, garbage garbage - keep it coming, you are making me a tech expert...god awfulness
