Hi! On the Desktop version of Sonos Controller it's easy to add multiple tracks to a queue. Either I use the tick box for the tracks I want to add or I hold down SHIFT and select either by mouse or using arrow keys. Then I add them all in one command. Is there something similar in the iOS Controller? I can't figure out how. I can only add tracks one at a time which is a bit boring and time consuming. Of course I know I can add a whole album and things lika that. So my question is regarding cases where I want to add a couple of tracks from an album, parts of a big collection of tracks e.t.c.

Hi, I have two PLAY:1 speakers that I control from the (pretty appalling) iOS app playing from my uPnP music server on the network. However, I also have a large collection on a portable device that can stream directly to the speakers. The problem is that the Sonos announces themselves with their IP addresses so the portable device sees names such as "123.456.1.250 - Sonos PLAY:1" and "234.567.1.245- Sonos PLAY:1". Since i don't carry my network address table around in my head its a bit hit and miss which one I connect to (the pair are also DHCP so there's a chance the address could change). The friendly names are held, I believe, in an XML config file on each Sonos device. I can read the contents but can't change them. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance

I'd like to replace my kitchen radio with a sonos player. But there's one thing that is holding me back; I need a phone/tablet to use a sonos player. My radio has hardware buttons and that is a HUGE advantage in a kitchen environment. With 9 fingers messy from preparing food/whatever i can use my one clean finger to press power followed by a channel preset. This is a PAIN as it is today with a sonos system. I know there's buttons on the players, but 1: you cant pick a favorite/playlist, 2: your player(s) might me mounted out of reach. So; a small hardware unit with 3(ish) preset buttons that also powers on the player(s). Volume up/down and a pause/power off button. You could combine preset button long press with power-off/pause to save a button, but the affordance is a bit bad with this approach (it might be to hard for the average user to find out how to use the feature). Hi there. I have an old version of Windows Vista to control my Sonos at home (besides my iPhone and iPad). But now I can't use it any longer. Is it possible to "DOWN/BACK-date" the PC-controller, so I still can use my PC as a controller? I would apreciate your help.

I notice that my Sonos app on my android phone is burning large amounts of bandwidth throughout the night, even though there is no device playing. For example last night MyDataApps reported that the Sonos App consistently used ~1MB of wifi bandwidth. Thats 1MB of data every hour. Sonos is the highest data bandwidth consumer on my phone. I'm very concerned about this because it is means the wifi is on and is depleting my phone battery overnight. Of course, I can get around this problem by turning off the wifi. But that defeats the purpose of having a wifi connection. What is the Sonos app doing to want to use 1MB of data every hour? What can I do you limit/reduce/stop this data burn and thereby reduce the battery consumption of the wifi. Thanks, Rob

If I group a Play:1 speaker that is in my family room and living room, it creates a group. Can then play music to ONLY the Play:1 in the family room? I know I can ungroup them, which is what I believe I need to do.

Hi. I just got a playbar and 4 play 1s. I want to control the speakers volume separately but i cant find it in the app. I have my playbar and 2 1s grouped as one room and the other 2 1s as a separate room. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks

I'm wondering if the Logitech Harmony Companion can be mapped with buttons for individual Sonos Connect areas. This is the more basic Logitech controller, without a screen, at about $150. It includes the hub with the smarts, and a physical remote with buttons. I just have the Sonos Connect, piped into my audio system. Here's what I would like to do. First, program the Logitech app on my iPad so that it has a Sonos activity that turns on my preamp and selects the Sonos Connect input. Then add commands for several submenus: maybe one would go to the listing of featured classical radio stations, and another might be the list of featured jazz stations. Then map those commands to physical buttons on the Logitech physical remote. The way it would work: I stumble out of bed in the middle of the night, get a drink of water, and park myself on the couch with my eyes closed. We have sonos connected to the speakers in our house, but I'm trying to connect my phone to it too so I can control the music that plays on my phone. I've set up the bridge it says anyway, but then it asks to connect a player? I don't have any other player to connect though?

Hello... I used to be able to "Share This Track" from the Sonos App to Facebook via activities. I can no longer use this feature in the Sonos App. Is there a way to get it back?

My TV volume on my playbar seems to be higher up than my music playing on the playbar. So if I have been listing to the TV and then I start play music the volume is very very very loud. Is there a way to get the playbar to remember a TV volume and a music volume.

I would love to have a widget in the lock screen so I can change the volume and skip tracks when my phone is locked! I used to use a competitor system before I got Sonos which had this and it was so useful!! It seems really long winded and not easy to change tracks or adjust the volume when my phone is locked! I have to unlock it then open up the Sonos app again which is a real pain, it should be so easy. Sonos is all about simplicity so I don't understand why no one at Sonos has come up with a solution!

I have been wondering if Sonos will be compatible with Google Home as a voice activated controller. Some people talk about it, saying that it works with Amazon Echo, Tap, and Dot, but those run through SmartThings. Has anyone heard anything about Google Home starting to work with Sonos? I can't seem to add Pandora. I'm using Controller for PC with Connect:AMP. I was able to add my songza and google music accounts. When I tried to add my Pandora account, it says "connecting" for a while, and then gives a "Account not found" error. I know the account exists because I can login with the same credentials on Pandora.com. I then tried to create a brand new account. That too gave the same error.
