Instead of the Android users it is not possible for IOS users to direct cast music from the Google Music App to the Sonos system. I think this is terrible and a drama. When is this made possible?

I've managed to delete each song from an unwanted playlist, but the 'shell' with the title remains. How do I remove it entirely?

I have 1 x CR100 and 3 x ZP100. 2 x ZP100 are connected via WM:0 and 1 is wireless. They all show as WM:0 on diag. I did a factory reset on my CR100 and tried to connect it to both of the wired ZP100s. When I press the Mute/Vol+ on the ZP100 the controller shows connecting but after a few minutes it says: "This controller was unable to connect to a Sonos component. Please try again. (1)" I know it sees the system because it shows waiting for mute/vol+ and when I press it on the ZP100 it switches to connecting. It just wont connect. Hi just brought the CR200 from eBay and trying to connect it so it works with my Sonos system , which can't connect to it. My playbar is wired to one of my home-plugs and than connects all my speakers together. For the CR200 to work do I need to get the bridge or boost for it to work? When I had the boost my Sonos worked sometime and would not connect other times. Please help me

Can i create play lists on android? If so how? If not can they be crated on PC and transferred? How? How do you clear the queue on android. Sonos has great sound bu total lack of instructions etc. I dont want to have to read through loads of forums etc to find out answers. basically i want a manual that has all the answers without all the other rubbish.

Create a simple playlist

This may be a silly question because I'm over 50. I have a large list of favourite songs on Sonos playlist which I use all of the time. Is it possible to transfer the whole list over to spotify so that I can play it on my phone? I know you can add each song separately but want to do the whole list?

This would create a solution for a number of "remote and voice" control options for selecting the TV source outside the SONOS app.

Hey y'all, Is there a way that I can prevent my teenager daughter from pi55ing the neighbors off whilst I'm away on business by having the music too loud? Each room as a Sonos 1 in and the lounge as a Sub, Playbar and 2 x S:3's but she groups all of them together and has the music loud. Is there a way I can lock the volume control to a level that will prevent this happening? I think it would be a great feature to have any help would be awesome. Thank you

`I recently replaced my Mac that I used to set up my Sonos system. I now have a PC and want to know how to have it be the internet source for the system. I had help setting the system up the first time so not sure exactly what was done then, so totally not sure now. What do I have to download to my new PC to have the Sonos system recognize it rather than the old Mac? Thanks.

I set up the skill for Alexa and am running My Speaker on my PC and it works perfectly...... for 1 room. I have Sonos speakers in three rooms (2 or Play 1's and 1 is an Amp). It looks like My Speaker only sees one of the rooms. All three rooms can be seen and controlled by the Sonos app on my phone and also the Phonos Universal on my Windows PC. Any sugestions?

I use Sonos Connect and Sonos 5 speakers, Sonos 1's and I leverage the Dezzer music service which is all about uncompressed music. I found this setting in Advanced configuration on my sonos desktop app and was wondering if anyone could give me insights on this setting, what works best and if it would benfit a music service such as Deezer?

I have been creating a playlist of all the albums released this year so far. I started a new queue to add this week's releases and accidentally saved that over my existing playlist, which had about 2000 songs in it. Is there any way to recover an old version of a playlist rather than me start the whole playlist all over again?

My sonos will play Pandora and internet radio However it will not find my itunes library. I get an error message that says that my computer can't be found. My music is there and I can listen to it from my computer. I can see it when I browse for folders in Sonos, yet somehow it won't find it. I have been unable to play my music for a while now and have no idea what to do. Help. Thanks

Hi, I have a problem with my sonos speakers and the spotify windows application. I have a Connect:Amp and a Play:1. In the windows sonos controller both are listed but in spotify the play:1 is there less than half of the time. Sometimes the connect:amp also doesn't show (this one is even connected to my computer through rj45, the play:1 is on wifi). Even when I start the playback from the sonos controller, spotify won't pick it up. Sometimes when I use the android Spotify app I will see the device that doesn't show in the windows app (and probably sometimes the opposite). It is very annoying and I don't know what to do about it. Because of this I didn't buy the other speakers I wanted : I need to be sure it works fine first. Can anybody help me? I would submit a diagnostic but I don't really know when since I don't see it appear/disappear immediately and the sonos app works fine. Thanks in advance.

How do I remove fixed volume setting so I can adjust volume level independently by room. When I go in to setting > room setting and pick a room both the 'speaker touch controls' and 'white indicator light' features are selected

The current workflow for adding a Now Playing song to an existing Sonos playlist is cumbersome and too long.

Hi! On the Desktop version of Sonos Controller it's easy to add multiple tracks to a queue. Either I use the tick box for the tracks I want to add or I hold down SHIFT and select either by mouse or using arrow keys. Then I add them all in one command. Is there something similar in the iOS Controller? I can't figure out how. I can only add tracks one at a time which is a bit boring and time consuming. Of course I know I can add a whole album and things lika that. So my question is regarding cases where I want to add a couple of tracks from an album, parts of a big collection of tracks e.t.c.

Hi, I have two PLAY:1 speakers that I control from the (pretty appalling) iOS app playing from my uPnP music server on the network. However, I also have a large collection on a portable device that can stream directly to the speakers. The problem is that the Sonos announces themselves with their IP addresses so the portable device sees names such as "123.456.1.250 - Sonos PLAY:1" and "234.567.1.245- Sonos PLAY:1". Since i don't carry my network address table around in my head its a bit hit and miss which one I connect to (the pair are also DHCP so there's a chance the address could change). The friendly names are held, I believe, in an XML config file on each Sonos device. I can read the contents but can't change them. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance
