Certain song in the playlist is throwing access error when manually selecting it, cant even load the artist profile. But the same song seems to play while during playlist shuffle. I see that there are similar posts in the past regarding this issue on YouTube premium family accounts. Is it still the case? Is Sonos gonna fix it?

I don’t think account restrictions are up to Sonos to fix. I think they merely check for authorization from YouTube’s server, and receives back a ‘yea’ or ‘nay’. What did YouTube say, when you contacted them about the issue?
