When using Sonos Voice or Sonos app to select a song from Amazon Prime Music, a different wrong song is played and displayed in the now playing window. This is not an issue with other content services such as Apple Music or Spotify. That was tested by clicking on the service in the Sonos app and filling in the search field and further selecting the track from the results of the search. For Amazon Prime Music content service in Sonos, a completely different song from a different artist plays every time for any search entered. It is also an issue with the Sonos web player. I picked an album and it played a song from a completely different artist. If I click the three ellipses and click “Play Now”, it will play yet another incorrect song from yet another artist and that repeats itself every time “Play Again” is clicked. It is not an issue when using the native Amazon Music app on my phone. Can’t be a cache problem because it’s a problem on multiple devices, iPhone app and web page using computer browser on Mac. I have already completely reinstalled my Sonos system, deleted and reinstalled the Sonos iOS app, and deleted and reinstalled the Amazon Music content service in Sonos and re-authorized with login credentials. Sounds like the Sonos API to Amazon is no longer working. Any suggestions?

To play individual tracks/albums as you wish from Amazon Music you need an Amazon Music Unlimited subscription.

Amazon Prime will just play similar tracks/artists to your initial choice due to changes made by Amazon to their subscription tiers.

You can have similar issues with SPOTIFY. There are multiple ways of dealing with these services and they don’t update each other.

First, you could use AirPlay/Bluetooth to send music from a phone/pad/computer to SONOS. In this case the phone/pad/computer is playing music through an App. This App is not aware of the SONOS system, the App is simply sending out AirPlay or Bluetooth.

Second, you can use the SPOTIFY App to interact with the SONOS hardware and play music directly to the SONOS system.

Third, you can use the SONOS controller to fetch music from SPOTIFY and play on the SONOS system.

The three playing methods do not share play information with each other.

@buzz - The issue with Amazon Prime has nothing to do with how many streams are playing.
