Hello, I would like to hook up my old Playbar with MAC over AirPlay in my office. 
 

Would Wiim Mini or Belkin adapter AUZ002VFBK do the job? Both have optical connector.

If you are just using the Playbar for music, then yes connecting the WiiM Mini or the Belkin adapter will allow you to listen on the Playbar.

If the Playbar is also being used for TV audio, you would need an optical switch so you could transfer between inputs.
