I spend more time trying to get the sonos system to work than I do listening to the music. The app on my phone and desktop routinely fail to find any number of the devices on the system. When the device can be seen it will take an age to connect to and when it does finally connect it will show as playing but without actually outputting any music.

This system is at work and we have an absolute mountain of speakers, lamps, ports and amps and not one of them is reliable. The system will ignore inputs and skip tracks at will and pause itself for no reason. If we weren't tens of thousands dollars deep into the sonos system I’d rip it all out and replace it all.

If anyone else has a large system and has had similar issues I’d appreciate any fixes.

We’ll need information about your system and network before we can provide any useful suggestions.

Which information would be most helpful?

What SONOS units are in the system? Are the units wired to the network or wireless? Describe your network. Are there any network switches? WiFi mesh points? Give model numbers. What is the source of your music? Which SONOS controller are you using?
