why buy

The answer is  don't. Every day you will find an issue with the system. Some days you will find that the status lights are all on. Check your app..it will say no products found. Start again..eventually you will find a toggle switch to off the status lights..it is of course already off. Don't stop there.  Some of the status lights have changed colour too. No explanation or help from sonus. But hey..good news the system may respond but may reward you with just some volume controls working and half of the speakers responding and some not at all. Enjoy the uncertainty of it all, your efforts to resolve any issue will not work..go to bed, switch on in the morning, sometimes it may work if not off the system and head out or put on headphones.. not sonus

Don't start me on the new app , lack of android support and the good old apparently lost sonus boost

Well, at least you’ve clearly tried all routes to sort these issues.
Will that be all?

It would be good if sonus could sort out the app and software issues...

If there are certain specific issues you’re encountering, people here might be able to advise.

You could try installing the desktop Sonos app for Windows or Mac and running a system update from there (it’s often a way around some phone app issues).

And then force close your phone app and re-open it, to see if things work any better?

(Also make sure your phone app is up-to-date.)

All software and apps up to date. Not buying a desktop to resolve the issues but they occur on my Android phone and up-to-date apple iPad .

Most of the issues revolve around the boost now designated as unavailable and yes I have powered everything down etc etc but the recent app update and software download seems to have increased the glitches

You shouldn’t have to do this to get Sonos to work…plain and simple. Sonos is a disaster these days.

True. But if it gets it working for now.

Some recent updates have improved the system. Why the differential tho between Android and apple
