When will Sonos implement the ability to listen to songs and movies in Dolby Atmos via AirPlay 2?

Currently with the imminent release of IOS 18 apple has made available the possibility of listening to the dolby atmos format via AirPlay 2 pre for third-party manufacturers.

Currently with the imminent release of IOS 18 apple has made available the possibility of listening to the dolby atmos format via AirPlay 2 pre for third-party manufacturers.

As this is a user community we cannot advise you on this. Sonos rarely announce future developments or products, so it’ll be supported when it’s released. 
That said, with the fun of the new web app being experienced at the moment, Sonos are giving partial updates and it will be good if they maintain that.

Historically Apple have limited advanced features of Airplay to their own devices.

Also: Sonos have a lot more important work to do on getting their systems back into a functional state for so many of us.
