I note the latest Android / IOS App  includes Playlist editing with the caveat:-

80.18.23 (Android)

80.18.25 (iOS)

Release date: 31/03/2025

In this update:

  • Ability to create and edit Sonos playlists
    • Gradual rollout: This feature will be available to all users over time

Having installed this I don’t see any playlist editing features so my question is:

What is the timeline for making this feature available to all?

and will it require another update to activate it ?

Seems to me that the rollout is triggered by controller id. I have several Apple and Android devices updated to latest version of Sonos app and Sonos playlists edit is available on my iPad and one Android smartphone. IPhone for example is still missing.
After my first look Sonos playlist editing works well. 😎

Update to yesterday…

Android has updated to 80.18.24 over night in UK from 80.18.23. and can now edit playlists.

However still cannot start playlist from scratch by adding albums/tracks and then making that queue into a playlist.

Recently Played from Local Library still doesn't show album art and local library doesn't show hd/hi-res banners.

Consider yourselves lucky. I'm on 80.19.10 release 20250408

With a Moto Edge 2022 +

And I cannot even PLAY my playlists created in Sonos, let alone edit them.

I CAN play songs or albums from my NAS from the mobile app, so the music source is not the problem.

I'm so tired of waiting for this to be fixed....

18.20.33 Android

Been running for about weeks. Ok, no issues but still no hd or his res for local library.
