Running latest versions incl android app from May 2025.

Some days when an alarm (Spotify playlist) goes off, pressing Snooze do not work (no response pressing the button). Pressing the Continue listening button results in a dimmed app that do not accept input. It do not help to restart the app (that will show the alarm popup again with the same result). Instead I can swipe or click outside the alarm popup to close the alarm popup and then I can stop the playing with no issues (but stop instead of snoozing).

I have not tested it, but it feels like it happens once a week. I will monitor if it only happens on Wednesdays (same playlist). 

My alarms play a different Spotify playlist from Monday to Friday at 6:35.

The problem started within 1-2 months, so I think after an update in april.

I am sorry to hear you are experiencing an issue with Sonos Alarms being unable to snooze on the android Sonos App.

There is a recent issue that we are tracking with Sonos Alarms being inconsistent but this one you mentioned is not on the list.

If you are able to reproduce it, I would suggest you to Submit Diagnostics within 10 minutes of doing so and then reach out to our Support team for live troubleshooting.

They have tools at their disposal to provide you with information and advice specific to your Sonos system and what it reports.

Same problem this morning (same time, different Spotify playlist) - from the screenshot "Kunne ikke udsætte" = "Unable to snooze" or "Could not snooze" and "Prøv igen" = "Try again". Tried a new alarm 15 min later (also Spotify playlist) but was unable to reproduce. Unfort I saw this a bit late, so did not make a diag within 10 min or before I tested with the new alarm. I will try again tomorrow 🙂

 

 


So happened again. Support is not open for 2-3 hours so will update here for now. 

Screenshots are in reverse. So from bottom the initial popup when the alarm goes offnwith buttons Snooze (Udsæt), Stop and Continue listening (Fortsæt...).

 

Then the popup after pressing Snooze with the msg Unable to snooze and the first button changed to Try again (Prøv igen)

 

Then the popup where I clicked the last button Continue to listen (Fortsæt) where the app is sort of greyed out but the small icon indicating playback next to the name of the room (here Køkken) is still being animated. I was unable to do anything in the app, so had to close and reopen the app.

 

Restarting the app shows the alarm playing / snooze popup again. Now I dont quite remember if I hit Stop or swiped the alarm away and stopped playback. Then I generated a diag. 

Nothing in the app looks wrong when the alarm goes off, right name of room and track, artwork etc. And as I mentioned different Spotify playlists every day. 

My phone have not had an update for a while so the only correlation I can think of is a Sonos app and/ir OS update in april. 

 

Note the app was (today at least) running in the background, I usually lock it so it dont close when I close all apps (Samsung Galaxy s10e).
