You should be able to get Dolby Atmos on the Era 300 if you Airplay from the Tidal app to the speaker.
No-one will know until it happens unfortunately. Sonos doesn’t tend to reveal its plans or current list of work. It took a long time for Apple Music Lossless to be supported, and even longer for Atmos over AirPlay for example. Who knows what they’re working on next?!
Hi @JMS82
Welcome to the Sonos Community!
You can see which music services provide Atmos audio on Sonos systems on our Listen to music with spatial audio on Sonos speakers help page.
Please note that AirPlay on Sonos does not yet support Atmos audio - there is no current way to play Atmos audio from Tidal on a Era 300 speaker.
I hope this helps.

I experienced the same problem, with a "Sonos Arc + 2 One SL + Sub" surround configuration.
Impossible to send Tidal Atmos content to my Sonos system (from the Tidal and Sonos apps on my Android phone). The playback quality drops to HD stereo, no Atmos.
This was surprising to me, as I had no problems with the Apple Music app.
I had lengthy mail exchanges with the Tidal helpdesk. Very friendly, but no solution.
According to rumours on Reddit and this Sonos self-help forum (search for "Sonos Tidal Atmos"), it's related to a license fee discussion between Tidal and Sonos. The Tidal helpdesk did not confirm nor denied this claim.
There is a workaround: install the Tidal app on your smart-TV or ChromeCast (connected by HDMI to your TV). Then you can play Atmos quality on your Arc (connected by HDMI to your TV set), provided your TV-set is recent enough to pass through an Atmos signal.
Personal thoughts:
1) I think Sonos should focus on making the best possible speakers and hardware, and should not be bashing or milking content providers.
2) If the story about that license fee conflict is true, I think the customers of Tidal/Sonos have the right to expect a solution in the near future.
Question:
Does anyone has more information on this subject?
