Yesterday, my two Sonos products - Connect Amp (1st gen) and Play 1 - were working just fine via the S1 app. They have worked fine for years! This morning, when I open the S1 app, I am told I must download the S2 app. However, I know that the Connect Amp will not work with the S2 app. Is this Sonos’s way of forcing me to upgrade my hardware even though it has worked perfectly well for years? 

Post a screenshot so we can see exactly what the S1 app is saying.


Ok …. Apologies for the remarks above …. After a lot of research, I realised both my devices were compatible with the S2 app. I’ve upgraded both and using the S2 app, I’m back up and running!!! 😁😁👍👍
