Sub not updating

Hello hello. I’ve just bought a Sub. It needed an update when I turned it on and tried connecting it to my network, however it’s been at it all night and progress is sloooowwwwww. Is this indicative of an issue? Probably been updating for 10 hours in total. Any clues/advice? I think it’s a Gen1
