Spotify skipping tracks in the middle of a song

Is anyone else noticing a lot of skipping in the middle of a song with this newest Sonos app update? My internet is well over 500mbps and all of my speakers appear to have a strong connection.  I’m mainly using Spotify premium to stream on over 7 speakers, but with this newest app update (15.2.1) the skipping is becoming more consistent.

Yes, there appears to be a lot of users with this issue recently and quite a few separate threads are ongoing. Sonos don't seem to have commented in any of them for some reason.

Do you happen to use crossfade in the queue?

Funny you mention crossfade. I actually disabled that feature yesterday evening on Spotify in the Sonos app and it is noticeably better and skips far less. Still does it occasionally, but not every other song while crossfade was enabled.
