spotify on android not able to connect to sonos speakers

I have just recently gotten the sonos system n linked the arc, sub n sonos one to my sonos app on my android Samsung phone. 

I use Spotify and have no problem playing it via my phone, Windows laptop n desktop.

The spotify app is able to detect the Sonos speakers, however it is not able to link to the speakers n play through it. 

It is all connected to the same WiFi network.

Is there anything I am missing?

Try a reboot of your phone.

Did that n didn't work.

 

But miraculously,  I connected again a few days later and it worked! I wonder if it is due to the new app update?
