I rebooted my speakers and it didn’t help. Using the MacOS Desktop app, version 15.5. All speakers on 15.5 (build 73042060)

Any artist with a non-alphanumeric character eg Wham!, AC/DC, Hi-Tension work fine. Everyone else, no go. Seems like a bug in Sonos app…?
If it were a bug in the Sonos app, wouldn’t it be affecting all streamers, and not just Spotify? Since all streaming music companies in the Sonos ecosystem use the same software API?
I have this issue.
Searching on Sonos (Windows and android) for Spotify does yield any results when specifying artist, although it still works ok with albums, songs and playlists.
I’ve tried rebooting all speakers, my router and reauthorising spoitfy within my sonos app….it’s broken.

My colleague has expressed some interest in getting some diagnostics from anyone affected by this issue who has rebooted all their speakers since my last post here (when some changes had just been made). It’s been reported that the changes did not help, so some new diagnostics taken after that point would be very helpful to us in trying to ascertain what the problem is.
So, could anyone who would like to assist please submit a support diagnostic and reply here with the number given? As long as you have rebooted all your speakers since yesterday.

I can confirm I have the exact same issue. I have removed and re-added Spotify from my system.
Only a complete band name in double quotes or a bandname with special characters in it returns any results. If I just put in a bandname or partial bandname, no results.
I have the same issue with S1. Using “” works, but frustrating. All devices reset last night and Spotify account removed and re-added. Diagnostics number is 289013376
The search in my iOS app (updated to latest) is not working either. If I search an artist it pops up results for one second and then disappears to the spinning wheel with “Searching in Artist everywhere...” and doesn’t return anything. I’ve force quiet everything, reauthorized services, restarted my network, restarted each speaker, etc
Updating the app (Sonos) won’t change the data being sent by Spotify.

This would have been a fix implemented by Spotify.
