For whatever reason, when playing Cowboy Carter by Beyoncé as an album via Spotify, the song Jolene ALWAYS gets skipped. Going back and selecting the song manually plays just fine, but when playing the album from the beginning, this track is always skipped. Has anyone seen anything like this?

This happens for us too! I came to see if there was a solution. Did you ever find a way to make it stop skipping Jolene?


This seems very odd, since it’s just one, and the same, song, when played from Spotify. If it was happening on multiple songs from one service provider, it would make more sense as to be a Sonos issue, but just in case, assuming you’ve contacted Spotify to ask them, I would recommend that you submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing this problem, and call Sonos Support to discuss it.

There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.

When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.


Same issue here:  Called tech support and the fix was as simple as deleting spotify and reinstalling it. I’m embarrassed i wasted the poor guy’s time.
