In Sonos if I search for albums by a band, for example the band Yes, only one album, Fragile appears. If I do it in Spotify all of yes’ albums show up. Same issue on iPhone and iPad.
any thoughts on how this basic feature should just work?

I see all of the Yes albums in my Sonos App search on Android within the UK. What country are you in? Have you checked that your location in your Sonos profile on www.sonos.com is correct?
No. and why would that matter?
Just trying to rule out location filtering - not all countries have access to the same content.
