Spotify is skipping thru songs. Crossfade is off.

Not happy with Sonos or Spotify.

both. I need help to stop Spotify from skipping and I have contacted Sonos support. They have not helped.
Only Sonos radio does not skip. 

I can say I am not happy at the same time need help. 
 


If Sonos radio is working, that certainly implies the issue is at Spotify’s end of things, unfortunately. You may want to reach out to Spotify. Although it doesn’t sound like it’s needed, I’d still set up reserved IP addresses for your Sonos in your router. Of course, if they weren’t working properly, Sonos radio would be doing the same thing as Spotify is. But it’s a good precautionary measure, long term. 


Could it be Sonos Radio dropping back to a lower data rate to deal with an iffy WiFi environment?

Always worth a try as it is fairly painless.
