Speakers not playing spotify or will start playing then stop. I have 15 speakers 12 are connected through ethernet. 3 on wifi. Same network I have had been using for years. Now either the speakers will not start playing or will only play the ones on the wired network. I have not made any changes to the network either or moved speakers around.

It appears that something is inaccurate with your network in that speakers wired will play but not those on WiFi (interference of some sort). Tell us more about your network:

  • Is all equipment (router/modem and satellites if a mesh) provided by ISP
  • Do you own your router and/or mesh satellites

I have all unifi equipment and AP’s. No other brands or switches. No mesh. Like I had mentioned, it was working great with no problems. Then about 2 weeks ago it started.

My Ubiquity gear notified me of several updates recently,  so you might check to see if they changed something you were depending on.

Thanks all. I disabled the Sonosnet again and it started working properly again. An update must have turned it back on.

You should disable SonosNet in the Sonos app.  Also I think I read that UniFi behaves better if all Sonos devices  are on WiFi.
