One more issue for me, in addition to the familiar music library fail, and with latest update, iOS battery drain when running Sonos in background:

2 of my 3 speakers are constantly dropping out when playing a new track. Have to manually re-engage them each time.

I am experiencing exactly the same 

My phone app then can't see track playing.. Or Speakers... And becomes completely unresponsive.. 

I can't do anything but wait..…

My sonos system as it stands has become useless.…

How do you know it’s the Sonos app? Did you go to:

  • Settings > Battery > Battery Usage By App
