I thought the new app has sort of stabilized, but then this last week it's back to tricks and stupidity -- speakers disappearing from system, lots of mysterious playback errors where it just keeps saying "Couldn't play content" and "Something went wrong." Now it's doing a thing where it will play in one room through the touch controls but in the app the room is listed as "No content."

.I've updated, rebooted, etc. 

Anyone have any suggestions? Or is this all filed under "WTF is wrong with the new app"?

Since you say you’ve updated rebooted etc., but what about your network? Please provide information  about network configuration and brand of hardware. Also are you an iOS or Android user.

Same issue.
Turn wifi off and on and you might have success.
Garbage app.
